Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Functional / Business Analyst to join a leading company in the energy sector, based in Brussels. As a Functional / Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business and IT, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and translated into effective solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support the evolution of critical business applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and understand business processes related to commercial operations and/or planning activities
  • Gather, clarify, and formalize requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
  • Model processes and solutions (UML diagrams)
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, Product Owners, and other analysts
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth communication between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Mid-level experience as Functional or Business Analyst
  • Experience with UML modeling
  • Good understanding of IT environments
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Experience in complex environments is a strong asset
  • Experience in the energy sector is a plus
  • French and/or Dutch is a plus
