We are seeking a driven and emotionally intelligent Business Analyst to join our Improvement team on a Fixed Term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to influence how our services operate—tackling complex organisational challenges and helping ensure the Trust delivers efficient, high-quality support to the children and families we serve. In this role, you will lead on business analysis, service design, and change initiatives, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations that deliver meaningful and measurable improvements across processes, technology, and people. You will act as a trusted specialist, supporting projects, service improvements, and organisational change through insightful analysis and a collaborative approach to working.
Job Responsibility:
Lead on business analysis, service design, and change initiatives
Provide expert business analysis and service design support
Identify and shape future solutions to complex challenges across processes, technology, and people
Lead the planning and facilitation of workshops, meetings, time-and-motion studies, and process mapping sessions
Clearly document current and future state processes, producing high-quality blueprints, business cases, and cost–benefit analyses
Use data, insight, and stakeholder feedback to inform service redesign
Work closely with project and operational teams, building strong relationships and encouraging engagement with change initiatives
Requirements:
Must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham
Must have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK

Must undergo background checks including Experian Right to Work and Digital ID verification
May be required to undergo an appropriate level of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
