Business Analyst

• Work with portfolio management, technology teams, and business partners to evaluate current trading and optimization workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Convert business needs into clear functional requirements, detailed process flows, and supporting documentation for system enhancements and new capabilities
• Participate in solution delivery by supporting analysis, test planning, user acceptance activities, validation, and rollout coordination
• Review data outputs and application behavior to uncover issues, determine root causes, and recommend practical corrective actions
• Partner with development teams to ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, operational expectations, and investment-related standards
• Contribute to the implementation of portfolio management and optimization tools that enable scalable and effective business processes
• Produce workflow documentation, reporting definitions, and user-facing guidance materials to support adoption and consistent execution
• Assist with automation efforts, continuous improvement work, and organizational change activities tied to business process enhancements
• Coordinate across Strategic Initiatives, Client Services, and Operations to support infrastructure improvements and tailored business solutions
• Monitor application performance for trading and optimization platforms, escalating and helping resolve issues as needed, including work within systems such as Axioma Direct and similar platforms

• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a comparable role supporting financial or enterprise applications
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, map business processes, and contribute across the software delivery lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with system testing, validation, and implementation support in a structured project environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work comfortably with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience operating in cross-functional environments and managing multiple priorities across concurrent initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and process improvement approaches
• Exposure to portfolio management, trading, or optimization platforms within financial services is preferred
