Job Description:

Tal Search Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a key Florida state agency initiative. This is a long-term, on-site role focused on leading business and technical analysis efforts across multiple integration projects. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate requirements sessions, and ensure deliverables align with agency goals and state standards. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to projects that directly impact public services while working within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the development of specifications, project planning, and management activities
  • Scheduling and coordinating technical integrations across multiple resource teams
  • Organizing and facilitating business and technical meetings, design sessions, and training
  • Preparing technical documentation related to requirements, design, data flow, testing, and training
  • Assisting leadership with weekly verbal updates and monthly written status reports that highlight accomplishments, challenges, and recommended solutions
  • Monitoring project progress, managing risks, and ensuring deliverables align with timelines and budgets
  • Maintaining project documentation, including plans, budgets, communication logs, risk registers, and change control records
  • Ensuring compliance with technical standards, policies, and State of Florida regulations
  • Coordinating testing and verification efforts to ensure modifications meet project objectives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience producing technical documentation (requirements, specifications, design, process/data flow, testing, and training)
  • 5+ years of experience with data consolidation, editing, and normalization
  • Proven experience scheduling technical integrations involving multiple teams
  • Experience organizing and leading technical or business presentations and training sessions
  • Experience facilitating analysis, design, and planning meetings with diverse stakeholders
  • Understanding of State of Florida rules and regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Technical knowledge of web, network infrastructure, network communication, and security preferred
