Business Analyst/Scrum Master

• Partner with stakeholders and product leaders to gather, clarify, and organize business and technical requirements for active initiatives
• Create and maintain process flows, system documentation, and supporting analysis materials to ensure teams have accurate project information
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items that help development teams deliver effective solutions
• Lead Scrum activities such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other team meetings with a high level of ownership and initiative
• Coordinate project activities across teams, track progress, and help remove obstacles that could affect delivery timelines or outcomes
• Review existing workflows and data processes to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support solution planning
• Work with internal teams and external partners to communicate updates, confirm requirements, and align on project expectations
• Provide additional analytical or coordination support as needed to meet changing business priorities

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, Scrum leadership, project coordination, or a closely related function
• Demonstrated experience supporting the design, development, and implementation of software systems, products, or technology solutions
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum methods, including running ceremonies, managing backlogs, and writing user stories
• Proficiency with business and documentation tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, along with experience using a work management platform
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in both one-on-one and group settings
• Proven ability to analyze documents, solve problems efficiently, and work collaboratively with team members, customers, and third-party partners

Background in financial services, including investments, life, or annuity environments, is preferred but not required
