Job Description:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a detail oriented Business Analyst to support enterprise wide process improvement initiatives for one of our clients. This blended BA/PM role will partner closely with the data analytics team to analyze, document, and optimize processes across permitting and licensing services. The ideal candidate brings experience leveraging data to drive insights, building process maps, and managing improvement projects from analysis through execution. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical thinking, the ability to work independently, and a proactive mindset focused on driving measurable change in a collaborative, high-accountability environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support enterprise wide process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze, document, and optimize processes across permitting and licensing services

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst position
  • Experience with process mapping and documentation using tools such as Visio
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Planner or similar project tracking tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to quickly learn new subject matter areas such as construction permitting or business licensing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across both business and technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high accountability, fast moving environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with permitting, licensing, or regulatory functions
  • Experience with SQL for data exploration, including basic queries and joins
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project tracking or workflow management
  • Prior experience working on process improvement or transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to public sector or government environments
