Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale data management projects within a government or similar environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management, business analysis, and Agile methodologies, with the ability to manage complex projects from initiation through delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage enterprise-level data management projects from planning through execution
  • Work within Agile frameworks to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government agencies
  • Perform business analysis to gather and document requirements
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with state or federal project frameworks (e.g., Texas Project Delivery Framework)
  • Utilize tools such as Jira for project tracking and reporting
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale data management projects
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience managing projects for state or federal government agencies or similar organizations
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) processes
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Familiarity with Texas Project Delivery Framework (TPDF)
  • Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar
