Job Description:

This role involves working in a transformative phase uplifting technology offerings in Margin and Collateral, OTC derivatives, Payments and Cash Management domains. The IT Business Lead Analyst will liaise between business and technologists, focusing on building technology vision and strategies while actively participating across SDLC stages. Key responsibilities include consulting with clients, creating product roadmaps, managing backlogs, evaluating progress, and proposing innovative solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with prospective and operational and business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into technology product requirements
  • align with the vision for the team’s product and maintaining the cohesive vision throughout the SDLC process
  • create a product roadmap based on this vision
  • managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on challenging and often competing requirements
  • active participation in stages of the technology product creation
  • monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
  • identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options
  • consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications
  • partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
  • evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements
  • recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
  • provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems
  • develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions
  • appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
  • demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • work with the wider product team and end users to deliver updates and active participation in all scrum activities and product sprints.

Requirements:

  • Experience in product companies as product owner/manager
  • experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast-paced, financial product company
  • adept in agile practices and strong ability to develop, manage and continuously prioritize backlog
  • product knowledge of Margin & collateral, OTC Derivatives or payments flows or related domain is a plus
  • energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
  • strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
  • demonstrated success interacting with senior management both in the business, corporate functions, as well as the Operations and Technology environments
