As a Business Analyst - Pricing within Adyen’s Global Payments Pricing team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our card payments business across APAC. You’ll help build a strong understanding of interchange and scheme fee structures across different markets in the region, ensuring accurate fee passthrough and pricing transparency for our merchants. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Partnerships, and Commercial teams, you’ll analyse large datasets to uncover optimisation opportunities, improve pricing accuracy, and support scalable payment operations across a complex and fast-evolving payments landscape.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure merchants are charged the most accurate and optimal cost price for transactions across APAC markets
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, answer business questions, and uncover optimisation opportunities
Build and refine pricing and rule-based models, including anomaly detection and monitoring frameworks
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve core payment and pricing processes, including automation opportunities
Support fee and pricing change rollouts to maintain the integrity of our pricing infrastructure and merchant experience
Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Experience analysing data and automating complex data handling using SQL and/or Python
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Comfortable solving complex problems using data and working with technical stakeholders
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker or Tableau
Able to communicate complex technical or data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple priorities effectively
