We're looking for a hands-on, insight-driven Business Analyst to join a growing team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role is W2 only (no C2C) and fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates who can work EST hours. This is not a passive reporting role. We need someone who loves digging into data, proactively uncovering insights, and turning numbers into clear recommendations that drive business decisions. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders—including leadership—supporting areas like Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Performance.
Job Responsibility:
Own and build Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations from end to end
Proactively analyze data and surface insights—not just respond to requests
Translate sales, margin, pricing, promotion, and operational data into actionable recommendations
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across a multi-unit retail environment
Partner with cross-functional teams and present findings to leadership
Work with large, complex datasets using Power BI and Excel
Requirements:
Strong, hands-on Power BI experience (this is core to the role)
A proactive, curious mindset—you go looking for insights
Experience analyzing sales, margin, pricing, promotions, or operational performance
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to clearly explain data and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience in convenience retail, retail, grocery, QSR, or multi-unit environments
Experience supporting Operations, Merchandising, and Marketing simultaneously
Familiarity with POS, loyalty, labor, inventory, or category management data
Experience building KPI frameworks or executive-level reporting
