Job Description:

The Business Analyst, Online Retail Strategy manager is responsible for supporting the pricing and promotion strategy and execution for the direct-to-consumer Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques retail business. This person will be highly analytical, able to monitor customer response to pricing and promotions across channels and recommend specific actions. They will, additionally, assist with projecting inventory needs based on historical trends and in-year planned activities. Additional support may include assisting with onsite testing, customer analysis, and ad hoc analytical questions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists in determining pricing and promotion strategy
  • Implements pricing and promotion and sets tests in the ecommerce platform
  • Analyzes impacts of pricing and promotions and provide insights on customer response
  • Assists in determining inventory strategy
  • Monitors current inventory and projected future inventory needs
  • Produces reports on current inventory levels and projected needs based on historical data and in-year plans
  • Provides data-driven insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Delivers compelling presentations to leadership on recommendations
  • Coordinates with external agencies, when engaged, to product on-time and on-budget delivery

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Retail Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management or other relevant field
  • 6 or more years of relevant professional experience in analytics, consulting, retail, or a related field demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Strong project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to coordinate across multi-functional project teams to drive concrete results and actions
