Job Description

This role acts as the bridge between intricate business needs and powerful, automated solutions for engineering data authoring on our cutting-edge data-centric document generation and management platform. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital continuity, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across our organization. This is a hands-on position where you will translate complex requirements into seamless, high-performance platform configurations, driving innovation from concept to implementation in a large, complex aerospace environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for document automation templates, digital workflows, and data integration solutions
  • Identify business process inefficiencies and areas for automation
  • Directly configure document templates, dynamic data fields, workflow logic, and system integrations within our proprietary platform
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams
  • Partner with development teams to refine and clarify user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and execute test plans, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure deployed solutions meet quality standards
  • Create and maintain comprehensive artifacts, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals
  • Conduct effective training for end-users on platform functionalities and new processes
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize current document management processes and enhance overall platform utilization and data governance

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or a similar role, with a strong focus on document lifecycle management, business process automation, or enterprise data management
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and master new proprietary internal tools and systems is essential
  • Strong understanding of the document lifecycle, dynamic data integration, digital signatures, regulatory compliance, and automated archiving
  • Foundational understanding of database concepts and API interactions necessary for data exposition and platform integration
  • Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows)
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical configurations and autonomously lead initiatives and influence interfacing teams
