Job Responsibility:

  • Transformation Strategy & Operating Model Design (Shape transformation vision, scope, and roadmap across L&A value chains: New Business & Underwriting, Policy Admin, Servicing, Billing, Claims, Commissions, Agency/Producer Management
  • Define future‑state business processes, organizational structures, service models, hand‑offs, customer/agent journeys, and operational KPIs
  • Identify simplification, automation, straight‑through processing, and digitization opportunities to drive scale, speed, and cost efficiency
  • Recommend pragmatic changes that balance innovation with feasibility, regulatory reality, and market dynamics)
  • Business Analysis Excellence (Lead requirements discovery and definition across policy, operations, and customer‑facing processes
  • Author clear, structured BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned to both business and technology needs
  • Guide design discussions with architects, underwriters, product owners, and vendor teams to ensure the proposed solutions meet business needs, are scalable, and fit operational realities
  • Provide thought leadership in estimation, prioritization, scope management, and change control)
  • Solution Advisory & Platforms Experience (Conduct fit‑gap assessments across industry‑leading policy administration platforms and L&A ecosystems
  • Advise clients on platform and ecosystem options, integration approaches, modernization patterns, and implementation risks
  • Translate business objectives into solution roadmaps that balance technology enablement with operational transformation
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (architecture, product, engineering) to ensure business alignment throughout the lifecycle)

  • 15+ years in L&A domain roles, including 10+ years leading analysis and transformation in large programs

  • Insurance Value Chain Expertise (Application intake & underwriting, Policy issuance & lifecycle servicing, Customer/agent experience flows, Claims adjudication & payments, Billing, collections & disbursements, Distributor/agent management & compensation)
  • Enterprise & Ecosystem Awareness (Experience with leading PAS and L&A platforms (e.g., ALIP, OIPA, V3locity, FAST, Majesco, Sapiens, etc.), Understanding of underwriting engines, workflow tools, rules engines, CRM, document generation, and digital engagement platforms, Familiarity with data domains, reporting structures, and operational control environments)
