In this role, you will be the go-to expert for researching and analyzing complex derivatives and collateral initiatives. You will identify and implement service and technical improvements, supporting the rollout of new technologies and financial products. You will work side-by-side with cross-functional teams to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) directly within Aladdin, ensuring that all system integrations align with strategic goals and regulatory mandates. As a Business Analyst Leader, you will act as the primary bridge between complex business needs and technical execution. You will lead non-IT project workstreams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that derivatives processing and collateral management workflows are best-in-class. This role requires a rare blend of deep technical proficiency in Aladdin and the leadership presence to navigate a high-stakes, global corporate environment.
Job Responsibility
Serve as the internal expert for BlackRock’s Aladdin, executing test cases and identifying workflow enhancements within the platform
Collect, document, and manage comprehensive business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and execute robust test strategies and plans in consultation with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet rigorous quality standards
Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to determine optimal solutions for complex operational issues
Document and establish business processes, ensuring they comply with all industry regulatory requirements
Track project goals, deadlines, and metrics, maintaining superior documentation to keep all parties informed as priorities shift
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of intensive experience specifically with the BlackRock Aladdin investment platform
In-depth knowledge of derivatives products, trade lifecycle management, and collateral management processes
10+ years of total experience in Business Analysis within the financial services industry, specifically in an application management environment
University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to negotiate with cross-functional representatives and motivate global teams
Nice to have
Advanced certifications such as an MBA, CFA, or FRM are considered a significant asset
