The AI Transformation Intern supports the organisation's enterprise AI agenda by helping translate business needs into clearly defined, well governed AI use cases. Working at the intersection of business, technology, and risk, the role contributes to the structured analysis, prioritisation, tracking, and risk assessment of AI initiatives across the organisation. The intern plays a key role in ensuring AI use cases are clearly articulated, appropriately governed, and progressed in line with internal AI strategy, IT risk frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
Job Responsibility:
Support business analysis activities for AI use cases, including problem definition, scope clarification, and articulation of expected value and outcomes
Assist with product style documentation for AI initiatives, including use case descriptions, roadmaps, prioritisation inputs, and status updates
Maintain and continuously update the central AI use case library, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability across all initiatives
Track AI use cases across their lifecycle, from initial idea through discovery, assessment, and implementation
Support the completion of IT Risk Assessments for all AI use cases, coordinating inputs from IT, Risk, Data Protection, and Compliance stakeholders
Document AI governance artefacts, decisions, dependencies, and approval statuses in line with internal frameworks
Prepare clear and concise tracking materials, dashboards, and summaries for senior stakeholders and governance forums
Support broader AI transformation activities, including adoption tracking, process documentation, and continuous improvement of AI delivery practices

Data handling and analysis basics including working with datasets, simple metrics, and structured information to support tracking and reporting
Awareness of IT risk, governance, or compliance concepts including familiarity with risk assessments, controls, and approval processes, even at a conceptual level
