Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to work closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to support retail insurance product integrations. The primary responsibility of this role is to create and manage requirement and specification documents that enable seamless integration between insurance products and technical platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with business, product, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for retail insurance integrations
  • Prepare clear and detailed requirement documents, functional specifications, and integration documents
  • Act as a bridge between insurance business teams and engineering teams, ensuring accurate translation of business needs into technical requirements
  • Support API-based integrations by documenting workflows, request/response structures, and edge cases
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in requirements and proactively propose solutions
  • Assist tech teams during development, testing, and integration phases by clarifying requirements and resolving issues

Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience, preferably in insurance or fintech domains
  • Prior experience working with insurance companies or insurance-focused platforms
  • Strong understanding of retail insurance products, such as: Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, Life Insurance
  • Good working knowledge of REST APIs, including endpoints, authentication, and error handling
  • Proven experience in creating: Requirement documents, Functional / technical specifications, Integration or API documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into practical technical requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working with insurers, brokers, or insurtech platforms
  • Exposure to agile or product-based development environments
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence or similar documentation/testing tools.
  • Experience using Postman to test and validate RESTful APIs.
