Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst I to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Westerville, Ohio. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement. You will play a key part in documenting requirements, managing priorities, and ensuring project objectives are met effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with business teams to analyze current processes and determine informational or automation needs
  • Translate business requirements into clear, formal documentation to guide project development
  • Evaluate and prioritize requirements based on business impact, benefits, and associated costs
  • Develop resource effort estimates and create detailed project plans
  • Track and manage issues, risks, and dependencies throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure effective governance by adhering to project management best practices
  • Facilitate negotiations and decision-making processes to align stakeholders and achieve project goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Support the resolution of issues and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities for automation

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or a related role
  • Strong skills in documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable plans
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and lifecycle management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated negotiation and relationship management capabilities
