Job Opportunity: Business Analyst Are you a seasoned Business Analyst who thrives "up the funnel"? We are looking for a high-level strategist to join our team and help bridge the gap between executive vision and technical execution. This role is not for an "order-taker"; we need a proactive problem-solver who can refine complex epics into actionable features across multiple high-priority initiatives. In this role, you will operate at the Program level, focusing on the "Procure to Pay" and "Record to Report" value streams. You will partner closely with engineering groups and Product Owners to define epics and break them down into refined features for various scrum teams. This position requires a professional who can navigate several projects simultaneously, context-switching between different applications and systems while maintaining a clear vision of the end business outcome.

Job Responsibility

  • Program-Level Refinement: Lead the effort to refine broad epics and decompose them into functional features within existing value streams
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a critical liaison between business partners and the engineering group to translate needs into technical specifications
  • Process Optimization: Conduct gap analyses and develop detailed documentation, including process flows and user stories
  • Requirement Management: Gather detailed requirements from business partners and ensure they are ready for downstream delivery teams
  • Testing & Integration: Support system integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet the original business intent
  • Adaptability: Successfully manage and prioritize multiple initiatives across different systems within a fast-moving environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst (focused on BA lifecycle, not QA or PO roles)
  • Strong background in Retail or Corporate Finance is essential
  • Familiarity with Procure to Pay or Record to Report processes
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, MS Visio, and Excel
  • An outgoing, self-learner personality with the ability to bring new ideas to the table and challenge the status quo

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Oracle Finance systems
  • Knowledge of SQL or data querying languages for deeper analysis
