Business Analyst Assistant - Working Student

• Run SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data from internal databases
• Export and prepare datasets (e.g., CSV) for analysis
• Conduct exploratory data analysis in Python (Jupyter Notebook) or R (RStudio)
• Create clear visualizations and summaries to communicate insights
• Support the preparation of analytical reports, dashboards, and slide decks
• Collaborate closely with the CTO Office team and cross-functional stakeholders on ongoing projects
• Contribute to business analysis and/or requirements engineering tasks
• Assist with documentation, data quality checks, and process improvements as needed

• Enrolled at a university or Fachhochschule (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related STEM field
• Strong command of English (C2)
• German or French at C1 is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft O365 (PowerPoint)
• Intermediate-level SQL skills
• Beginner-level Python or R for data analysis
• Solid data visualization skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and logical thinker
• Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
