Job Responsibility

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned to agreed KPIs and business priorities
  • Translate business questions into clear, outcome focused analytical outputs for operational, tactical, and strategic decision making
  • Ensure dashboards are intuitive, consistent, and focused on insight rather than raw data
  • Work closely with IT and technical colleagues to consume data sets surfaced through Microsoft Fabric and related platforms
  • Validate data definitions, logic, and accuracy to maintain trust in reporting outputs
  • Feed business insight requirements into the ongoing evolution of data models and reporting structures
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, reduce manual processes, and increase self-service access to insight
  • Contribute to the development of reporting standards, documentation, and good practice
  • Support the wider Digital Transformation programme by embedding data led thinking into everyday decision making

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or BI focused role
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards
  • Experience working with structured data sets, measures, and data models
  • Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders, including senior colleagues
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insight clearly and succinctly.
