Job Description

One of the leading banks in the Netherlands is currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a long-term regulatory transformation programme based in Amsterdam (hybrid). You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a new Transaction Reporting solution across multiple regulatory regimes, working closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Front Office and external vendors. This is a highly visible role where you’ll drive business analysis, UAT strategy, stakeholder alignment and governance to ensure a successful regulator-ready implementation.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead business analysis activities for a large-scale Financial Markets regulatory transformation programme
  • Define business requirements, user journeys and end-to-end UAT scenarios based on regulatory and operational requirements
  • Coordinate UAT planning, execution, business readiness and defect resolution across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Front Office and external vendors
  • Establish governance frameworks, decision models, escalation paths and clear ownership to support programme delivery
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, regulatory sign-off and post-implementation stabilisation while providing risk-based reporting to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Markets, Capital Markets or Investment Banking
  • Strong understanding of transaction reporting, post-trade processing, trade lifecycle events and regulatory change, including EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR or similar regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience leading UAT, business readiness, stakeholder management and governance across large-scale transformation programmes
  • Experience working with Financial Markets platforms such as Murex, Calypso, Broadridge or similar trading and transaction reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders in complex delivery environments
