Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for document management processes
  • Analyze existing document management systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Design, develop, and implement document management solutions that meet business needs and compliance requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of document management systems and processes
  • Provide training and support to end-users on document management best practices
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in document management and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with government agencies to understand their specific document management needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to integrate document management solutions with other business systems
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of document management processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Document Management
  • Proven experience working with government projects and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with industry-standard document management tools and systems
  • Proficient in electronic document management systems
  • Experience in organizing, categorizing, and maintaining electronic documents
  • Knowledge of best practices in electronic document control
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, including but not limited to HIPAA, SOX, PII, PCI, PHI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
  • Proven track record of ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in document management
  • Ability to implement and monitor compliance processes related to document management
  • Expertise in record retention policies
  • Knowledge of document destruction policies and procedures
  • Proactive approach to ensuring compliance with record retention regulations
