Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Aligned Finance Associate to participate in financial research initiatives, collect and analyze financial data, maintain ledger accounts, and provide financial information to stakeholders while developing expertise in compliance and risk management requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in low complexity initiatives in researching financial data and reporting findings
Collect internal financial data, analyzing and testing for accuracy
Review tactical issues, policies or procedures related to risks and deliverables
Maintain ledger accounts to ensure accurate maintenance of financial data
Prepare data for research on product lines and strategic plans
Develop understanding of compliance and risk management requirements
Provide financial data information to managers, functional colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements:

6+ months of Finance experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
MBA from a reputed institute or Cost & Management Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst with post-qualification experience
Hands-on experience in LOB/segment/product reporting/management reporting/dashboard/presentations/analytics/commentary
Good exposure to handling workflow applications
Expertise in BO and/or BI Tools or similar applications
Expertise in Data Lineage, data flow/architecture and data quality
Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos expertise
Subject matter expert in data retrievals from different cubes
Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, Macros, Power BI, Power Apps and PowerPoint
Proficiency in AI framework and tools adoption (e.g., python, copilot, gen AI)
Proficiency in data querying (SQL)
Proficiency in advanced analytics platforms (Power BI, SAS, tableau)
Good understanding of accounting
Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage
Financial Services (brokerage) Industry experience strongly preferred
Certification in SAS, Python, Power BI, Power App
