Job Description:

The town of Southborough is seeking applicants for full-time Business Administrator for its department of Youth and Family Services. This position involves a high degree of diplomacy, tact, judgement and commitment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborating with individuals of all ages
  • Triage service inquiries through a variety of methods
  • Providing high level administrative support
  • Resource/referral information
  • Managing logistics
  • Processing payables and payroll
  • Assisting with customer service needs

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of program development, fundraising drives, scholarship fund, mentor workshops & prevention programs
  • Detailed record keeping, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an environment that supports mental health and human service resources
  • Superb communication skills, ability to prioritize workload, and capacity to work with a wide variety of personalities and needs are essential
  • Successful passage of CORI/SORI is mandatory
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Three to five (3-5) years of administrative experience or related field
