The town of Southborough is seeking applicants for full-time Business Administrator for its department of Youth and Family Services. This position involves a high degree of diplomacy, tact, judgement and commitment.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborating with individuals of all ages
Triage service inquiries through a variety of methods
Providing high level administrative support
Resource/referral information
Managing logistics
Processing payables and payroll
Assisting with customer service needs
Requirements:
Knowledge of program development, fundraising drives, scholarship fund, mentor workshops & prevention programs
Detailed record keeping, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an environment that supports mental health and human service resources
Superb communication skills, ability to prioritize workload, and capacity to work with a wide variety of personalities and needs are essential
Successful passage of CORI/SORI is mandatory
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Three to five (3-5) years of administrative experience or related field
experience working with government a bonus
