Job Responsibility

  • Lead month-end close and general ledger activities
  • Support AP, AR, and GL functions (primarily within one entity)
  • Oversee sales tax compliance, including review and approval of filings
  • Prepare/review quarterly fuel tax filings
  • Review quarterly payroll tax filings (KY, IN, MD) for staffing operations
  • Support payroll-related reporting (ADP processed
  • no payroll tax processing required for one entity)
  • Work across QuickBooks Online and Acumatica systems
  • Assist with multi-entity reporting and reconciliations

Requirements

  • Manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution background strongly preferred
  • Exposure to sales tax and multi-state compliance
  • Cost accounting experience is a plus
  • Strong month-end close and general accounting experience
  • Degree preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-system environment
