Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Associate to support Transactional Risk and Intelligence Group (TRIG) in performing transaction-based reviews of customers with elevated and complex risk profiles to generate actionable recommendations to line of business risk management teams.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in and provide support for low-complexity matters pertaining to business policy and regulatory adherence
Research, review, document, and present findings related to issues, records, policies, and procedures
Identify customers presenting a heightened risk to the line of business
Conduct deep research on high-risk customers and industries
Assess exposure to emerging risks
Enhance customer due diligence and risk baselines
Conduct transactional due diligence reviews
Assess transactional usage to understand benign activity versus further assessment needed
Conduct transactional reviews of customer base
Evaluate ML/TF and operational risks
Communicate findings and provide direction to manager and Wells Fargo Businesses
Participate in moderately complex project initiatives
Provide incremental enhancements to existing ML/TF typologies
Requirements:
6+ months of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience
Experience in compliance or operational risk management
Demonstrated ability to evaluate risks and communicate relevant risk to the business
Excel experience including managing large sets of transactional data (Pivot tables)
PowerPoint creation and presentation skills
Knowledge of BSA/AML programs including KYC, CDD, EDD, CIP
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Knowledge of Wells Fargo systems and products
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, National Security & Intelligence Studies or other relevant field
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Wells Fargo systems (WCIS, Cornerstone, Hogan, OIB, IIS, UAR Portal, etc.) and products (wires, ACH, check products, cash vault, etc.)
