As a PSV/HGV Mechanic at Arriva London, you’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs on our fleet of London buses. You'll work to the highest standards set by Arriva and the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), ensuring our buses are safe, reliable, and ready for the road.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out periodic servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs in line with Arriva and DVSA standards
Improve vehicle reliability by performing continuous maintenance and proactive repairs
Prepare vehicles for MOT, conduct preventative maintenance campaigns, and perform quality checks
Diagnose faults and ensure all maintenance work aligns with Arriva’s high standards
Requirements:
PSV/HGV maintenance and repair qualifications, at least NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent international qualification (proof required)
At least 5 years of relevant PSV/HGV repair experience (if no formal qualifications)
A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
