Job Description:

A family-owned company in Affligem specializing in custom bus transport is seeking a skilled Bus Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on buses and coaches. The company is committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences and has seen considerable growth in recent years.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on buses and coaches
Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Replace and repair electronic components, such as sensors and control modules
Perform routine tasks like changing tires, conducting oil changes, and replacing windows
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to maintain operational efficiency

Requirements:

Educational background in mechanics, technology, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in English, French, or Dutch
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diagnostics
Valid Category B driver’s license
a Category D license is preferred
Ability to replace electronic components, including sensors, actuators, and control modules
Hands-on experience with tasks such as tire changes, oil changes, window replacements, and crack repairs
