Bus Driver

• Drive the COA bus
• Provide safe transportation to medical appointments, stores, and social engagements for Wellesley’s senior citizens via a 12-passenger wheelchair-accessible bus
• Keep accurate passenger records
• Perform daily safety checks
• May occasionally be offered opportunities to drive the bus on other days of the week

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Clean driving record (no moving violations in the past 5 years)
• Patience with and interest in senior citizens
• Basic familiarity with personal computers and spreadsheet software
• CORI check and pre-employment drug screening required
• Mandatory training will be scheduled prior to driving
