Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting, is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety practices relating to cleaning
Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
A full UK driving license would be advantageous but is not essential

Job Responsibility

Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of buses, including seating, floors, windows, and driver's cabins
Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately
Clean and sanitise bus interiors, paying attention to high-touch surfaces
Perform deep cleaning of buses as required, including scrubbing, polishing, and sanitising
Maintain the cleanliness of the bus garage and surrounding depot areas, including workshops, staff rooms, and welfare facilities
Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
Report any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning procedures
Ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
