Job Description:

The Large Commercial/Industrial Burner Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning burners and combustion equipment. This role involves service troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing safety checks, and ensuring optimal performance of heating systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Service and Startup of Large Commercial/Industrial burners, boilers, and combustion systems
  • Service includes diagnostics and repairs, combustion testing, and efficiency tuning
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and burner/boiler control system issues
  • Document service reports and communicate findings to clients and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotation if required

Requirements:

  • Seasoned Technician that has worked on various manufacturers of Large Commercial Industrial Burners and combustion controls
  • Familiarity with Parallel positioning and full metered burner combustion controlled systems
  • Have worked on burners in the 10M to 100M range
  • Experience with Burner Management Instrumentation skills of burner related equipment
  • transmitters, meters, etc.
  • Qualifications/certifications (HVAC, electrical/mechanical trade)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
