Job Description

As a BUPA Health Advisor, you'll conduct various health assessments and collaborate with patients to help them make the necessary changes for a longer, healthier, and happier life. This is a full-time role working at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone, and any other facilities as required.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct tests as part of the health assessment, including electrocardiograms, blood sampling via venepuncture, blood pressure measurements, body measurements, and utilizing the body stat machine
  • Provide personalized lifestyle advice tailored to the patient's needs, considering their health risks, health assessment findings, and their goals for health and wellbeing
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared in advance for each health assessment session, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment afterward
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the patient at the heart of their health assessment

Requirements

  • Hold a post-secondary education vocational qualification in a relevant subject
  • Have experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness
  • Have experience of giving patient advice in a healthy living / lifestyle context, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol, sleep and stress management
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • Hold a degree level qualification in a relevant subject
  • Have experience working as a Health Advisor in a clinical setting
