Job Responsibility:

  • Load tank wagons according to SOP's
  • Properly lining tank wagon to loading pipe
  • Completing shipping paperwork
  • Ensure all special customer requirements are completed
  • Loading with correct type of oil
  • Properly sealing tank wagon
  • Ensure drivers receive required customer paperwork, samples before leaving premises.
  • Ensure correct valves are opened then closed once completed
  • Learn and understand inventory system (E21)
  • Communicate with Manager of Bulk Department with possible issues that affect proper equipment use, safety, effectiveness & efficiencies.
  • Learning and ensure you are complying to all company SOP’s

  • Actively involved in your safety along with your co-workers (wearing safety harness, wearing safety boots, wearing safety gloves, etc.)

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively work with various types of people
  • Highly motivated and energetic
  • Willing to work as a team
  • Must have a high energy level and be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Be flexible with the ability to comprehend, adjust and respond to customer bulk shipment needs
  • Must not be afraid of heights as constant climbing of tank wagon and railcars will be necessary.
  • Must be willing and capable of wearing a safety harness as required
  • Able to work in all types of environments (weather, sounds, etc.)
