Job Description:

A leading Building Consultancy known for its exceptional project delivery and commitment to technical excellence is looking for a talented Building Surveyor up to Senior level to join their London office. The role involves working on a varied portfolio spanning heritage refurbishments, modern new builds, and strategic advisory services.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and delivering building surveying commissions
Supporting clients across a full suite of services including condition and measured surveys, defect analysis, technical due diligence, dilapidations, party wall matters, and project management from inception to completion
Providing technical direction on complex schemes
Working closely with Directors and supporting more junior colleagues

Requirements:

MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
Demonstrable post-qualification experience in a Building Surveying role
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building pathology, and procurement routes
Ability to act as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent
Clear understanding of legislation affecting the built environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability and commercial awareness
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
