Job Description:

A well-respected Construction Consultancy with a strong presence across London and the South East, particularly within the public sector, seeking an experienced Building Surveyor for their Sidcup office. Opportunity to work on diverse projects including education, residential, and civic buildings while progressing toward seniority and long-term career growth.

Job Responsibility:

Producing detailed specifications
Schedules of work
Tender documentation
Undertaking Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties
Carrying out building condition and measured surveys
Conducting defect analysis
Submitting planning and building regulation applications
Mentoring junior staff

Requirements:

Ideally MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership)
A degree in Building Surveying or similar
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience with public sector clients and frameworks
Strong working knowledge of scheduling, specifications and contract administration
Familiarity with planning and building control processes
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
Proficient with AutoCAD

Nice to have:

Experience in party wall matters
DDA audits
CDM regulations
AutoCAD
