The successful Building Surveyor will work closely with Senior Building Surveyors and Associates, delivering projects from inception through to completion. You will be exposed to a wide range of surveying and project duties, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Surveyor looking to progress their career within a supportive consultancy environment, with clear routes for development and chartership support.
Job Responsibility:
Acting as Contract Administrator and or Employer’s Agent where required
Preparation of project designs, specifications and feasibility reports
Managing projects of varying size and complexity
Undertaking building surveys and site inspections
Preparation of tender documentation, evaluations and recommendations
Providing contractual advice pre and post contract
Preparing existing and proposed plans in CAD format
Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Building Surveying or equivalent (RICS accredited)
Strong technical knowledge across core building surveying disciplines
Able to manage projects with minimal supervision
Confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships
Interested in business development and networking
Able to delegate effectively and develop leadership capability
Comfortable working within the public sector environment
Subject to an enhanced DBS check
