Job Description:

A well-respected Construction Consultancy with a strong presence across London and the South East is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor for their Sidcup office. The role involves diverse projects within education, residential, and civic buildings, offering career progression and flexibility to work onsite and hybrid locations.

Job Responsibility:

Take ownership of projects from inception to completion
Produce detailed specifications, schedules of work, tender documentation
Undertake Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties
Carry out building condition and measured surveys
Defect analysis
Submit planning and building regulation applications

Requirements:

Ideally MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership)
A degree in Building Surveying or similar
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience with public sector clients and frameworks
Strong working knowledge of scheduling, specifications and contract administration
Familiarity with planning and building control processes
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
Proficient with AutoCAD (preferred)

Nice to have:

Experience in party wall matters
DDA audits
CDM regulations
AutoCAD
