A well-established property consultancy is seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects within the science and technology, education, and commercial sectors. Responsibilities include traditional surveying services, client management, and collaboration with a partner to ensure career growth within a supportive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver a range of professional and project-led instructions across a diverse commercial portfolio
  • Provide traditional building surveying services, including dilapidations, party wall matters, technical due diligence, contract administration, building pathology, condition and measured surveys, reinstatement cost assessments, construction monitoring, and principal design duties
  • Collaborate with a team and report directly to a Building Surveyor Partner

Requirements

  • MRICS Qualified or working towards Chartership
  • Degree in Building Surveying or relevant field
  • Strong commercial consultancy background
  • Comfortable managing clients and delivering professional services independently
  • Solid technical knowledge and a desire to continually grow within the role
