A well-established property consultancy is seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects within the science and technology, education, and commercial sectors. Responsibilities include traditional surveying services, client management, and collaboration with a partner to ensure career growth within a supportive environment.
Job Responsibility
Deliver a range of professional and project-led instructions across a diverse commercial portfolio
Provide traditional building surveying services, including dilapidations, party wall matters, technical due diligence, contract administration, building pathology, condition and measured surveys, reinstatement cost assessments, construction monitoring, and principal design duties
Collaborate with a team and report directly to a Building Surveyor Partner
Requirements
MRICS Qualified or working towards Chartership
Degree in Building Surveying or relevant field
Strong commercial consultancy background
Comfortable managing clients and delivering professional services independently
Solid technical knowledge and a desire to continually grow within the role
Nice to have
Proactive and motivated with a passion for building surveying
Diligent and detail-oriented
Exceptional communication and client engagement skills
