Job Description:

A Chartered Building Surveyor role working across prime commercial portfolios with a clear pathway to progress career while playing a key role in the growth of the business unit. The role involves working on surveys, refurbishment projects, dilapidations, and planned maintenance programmes across Central and Greater London.

Job Responsibility:

Client-facing and key point of contact for stakeholders across commercial assets
Delivering surveys and reports
Managing construction projects ranging from feasibility through to completion
Mentoring and developing junior surveyors
Supporting business unit directors in delivering objectives
Contributing to business growth through bid preparation and service management

Requirements:

MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – essential
Broad, in-depth Building Surveying experience post-MRICS
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procurement strategies
Confident in administering contracts as both Contract Administrator and Employers Agent
Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts
Excellent client-facing and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate surveyors within the team
Commercially aware, with the ability to deliver for profit
