Building Surveyor

• Support clients in the management and improvement of their property portfolios
• Focus on design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment activity
• Undertake building and measured surveys
• Ensure compliance with current building regulations and technical standards
• Prepare specifications, estimates and contract documentation for maintenance or remedial works
• Investigate defects
• Handle negotiations with loss adjusters
• Prepare schedules of dilapidations across both land and property
• Work closely with clients, project teams and internal colleagues

• MRICS Chartered (Ideally)
• Experience in a similar building surveying role
• Strong technical understanding of building pathology
• Confident in both professional and project work
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Clear communication skills and a client focused mindset
