Job Responsibility
Providing professional building surveying services including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, schedules of condition and party wall matters
Undertaking contract administration duties on maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects
Producing technical reports and providing advice on a range of building-related matters
Communicating effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams throughout project delivery
Supporting business development activities and maintaining existing client relationships
Attending meetings with clients and project stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards
Managing project administration including timesheets, expenses and invoicing requirements
Adhering to health and safety and quality management procedures
Requirements
A RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline
Experience providing advice on a range of building surveying matters
Strong understanding of client requirements and commercial objectives
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage your own workload and meet project deadlines
Experience working independently and as part of a wider team
Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills
