Job Description

An innovative and socially conscious Building Consultancy, are seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor to join their established team in London. Job Responsibility

  • Acting as Contract Administrator and/or Employer’s Agent
  • Preparing design specifications and tender documentation
  • Undertaking site inspections, feasibility reports, and surveys
  • Preparing and reviewing drawings in CAD
  • Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Managing planning and building regulation submissions
  • Assisting in party wall matters, dilapidations, and condition surveys
  • Maintaining a technical understanding of building pathology and construction operations
  • Promoting health, safety, and sustainability in all project work

Requirements

  • A RICS-accredited degree (or equivalent)
  • Achieved or working towards chartership
  • Strong technical understanding across all core areas of Building Surveying
  • Confident managing projects with limited supervision
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute to business development and team growth
  • Willingness to lead junior team members and share knowledge
  • Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check (due to client requirements)
