Job Description:

Randstad is partnering with a prominent client in the heart of Melbourne CBD to secure a Building Surveyor. Joining a high-performing team, you will play a pivotal role in the technical assessment and delivery of building approvals.

Job Responsibility:

Assess complex applications for permits, certifications, and consents for commercial developments in a timely manner
Provide professional commentary and advice regarding performance-based designs and alternative solutions for complex structures
Ensure all building control responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with Victorian legislation, codes, and standards
Provide expert building control technical advice to design professionals, developers, and council officers

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying OR Advanced Diploma
Strong knowledge of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations, and the NCC/BCA
Highly developed written and oral skills to produce technical reports and negotiate complex outcomes
