Job Description:

UK property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its established Building Surveying team in Birmingham. This Building Surveyor opportunity offers exposure to professional and project-based building surveying work across multiple sectors. The Building Surveyor will work as part of a principal-led business, delivering building surveying services to investors, developers, occupiers and public sector clients. This role suits a Building Surveyor looking to progress their career within a collaborative and commercially focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

Contract administration and project management duties
Project monitoring and employer’s agent services
Building technical due diligence surveys
Dilapidations advice
Planned maintenance schedules
Managing professional and project instructions across commercial, industrial and public sector assets

Requirements:

Degree-qualified background in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Experience delivering technical due diligence, professional and project work
Knowledge of contract administration and project management processes
Experience working across commercial and industrial property sectors
Ability to manage client relationships and instructions independently
