Building Surveyor

• Undertaking technical due diligence surveys, condition reports and defect analysis across residential properties
• Delivering professional services including planned maintenance reports, reinstatement cost assessments and party wall matters
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
• Managing refurbishment, restoration and conversion projects from inception through to completion
• Undertaking contract administration duties across residential schemes
• Advising clients on repair, maintenance and property enhancement works
• Ensuring compliance with planning legislation, Building Regulations and health & safety standards
• Producing detailed client reports and project documentation
• Supporting senior colleagues with business development and client relationship management
• Mentoring junior members of the Building Surveying team
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery

• A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant property related discipline
• MRICS or MCIOB qualification preferred
• Experience delivering residential Building Surveying projects within the UK property market
• Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction methods and statutory compliance
• Experience undertaking contract administration and project management duties
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide clear technical advice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
