Job Description:

A national property consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its Oxford team. This Building Surveyor role offers the opportunity to deliver a wide range of professional surveying services, including condition surveys, defect analysis, party wall work, dilapidations, and reinstatement cost assessments. The Building Surveyor will work with multiple clients across commercial, retail, and educational sectors, supporting project delivery while developing core Building Surveyor skills. This position provides a clear progression path toward senior surveyor and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and developing project briefs in conjunction with clients and senior colleagues
Establishing and maintaining client relationships
Producing designs, specifications, and tender documentation
Administering JCT building contracts
Undertaking condition surveys, defect analysis, party wall consultancy, dilapidations, and reinstatement cost assessments
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants

Requirements:

Experience advising on commercial, retail, or educational properties in the public or private sector
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and commercial awareness
