Projects span a diverse range of building types and construction forms, including listed and historically significant buildings such as the Devon County Council Corporate Campus, as well as other corporate properties. The portfolio includes buildings with thatched roofs, traditional slate coverings, as well as modern metal‑clad industrial units. We also deliver an annual programme of school repairs and improvements, which typically includes fire compartmentation works, re‑roofing, insulation upgrades, wall repairs, and redecoration. Our farm building projects often involve Decent Homes works, including re‑roofing, replacement windows, kitchen and bathroom renewals, and the installation of specialist drainage treatment systems such as septic and biological tanks. Some schemes involve complex structural repairs, delivered with support from our in‑house engineers, and may include foundation works, roof structure repairs, and lintel replacements. Project values typically range from a few thousand pounds up to £500,000. There are also opportunities to undertake condition surveys and dilapidations assessments. The variety of work offers broad exposure across the profession and would suit both junior surveyors working towards APC completion and senior surveyors managing more complex and technical projects. Team and Working Environment: We operate as part of a multidisciplinary professional team, with in‑house structural, civil, and MEP engineers, alongside architects, project managers, estate surveyors, and fellow building surveyors delivering projects collaboratively.
