Job Description:

As a Building Services Technician at JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay, you will be responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing various systems and equipment. This role involves physical tasks, maintaining inventory, and adhering to company protocols while fostering positive workplace relationships. Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Perform inspections on tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment such as tools and radio
Operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
Communicate activities and problems to other shifts
Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall, and wood trim repair
Replace light bulbs and A/C filters
Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical items
Perform programming on TVs and inventory duties
Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs
Display basic computer skills
Adhere to company and safety protocols including reporting hazards and completing safety training
Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
Welcome and assist guests according to standards
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Perform tasks involving lifting, stair climbing, and computer input

Requirements:

Driver’s License
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting

Nice to have:

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
