Job Description:

Building Services Technician position at Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing, responsible for maintenance and repair of hotel facilities with advanced engineering skills required

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
Read standard blue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC
Perform complex repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment
Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Valid Driver's License
