We are seeking motivated individuals who are excited to learn, grow their skills, and contribute to a wide range of low‑carbon energy projects. Join us and play a key role in shaping the UK’s Net Zero future. As part of a rotation development programme, your work placements will range between 8-12 weeks across 3 x Design Principles, Work Winning, Commercial and Site. This will enable you to develop a knowledge and understanding of various building services principles used in electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems along with project management, technical reporting and communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Developing knowledge and understanding of building services design principles in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems within a building
Using project management systems during the construction process to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
Working alongside the commercial team to understand contractual agreements, review the financial performance of a project and support the procurement process
Understanding H&S requirements and how to comply with safe working practices
Managing day to day activities on site relevant to skills, training and experience
Assisting testing and commissioning activities on site
Producing technical reports using engineering terminology
Developing communication skills by delivering Health & Safety toolbox talks, liaising and dealing with sub-contractors and producing project reports
Requirements:
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4 and above) essential
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4 and above) essential
GCSE or equivalent Design & Technology (Grade 4 and above) desirable
GCSE or equivalent Science (Grade 4 and above) desirable
Unrestricted and ongoing right to work in the UK for the duration of employment, without the need for sponsorship
